
The Lybian investiment group LAAICO (Libyan Arab africa investiment Company) has recently gaigned the Abou Nawas Tunis privatisation hotel (59.99% of the hotel assest had been the property of Société Tunisienne de Congrès, STC). The LAAICO Group is very actif in the Sub-Saharan Africa region especially in telecommunication, hotels, building and industry. Althought the saoudian billionaire Prince Al Walid Ibn Talel, the owner of the pretigious George V Paris Hotel,had been very interested in the transaction, he failed to go until the "finish line" : he prefred a "private contract" business and the retained method was the "public offer"

A mon sens, Al Walid aurait été le mieux placé pour prendre les reines du prestigieux hotel de la capital. Mais son principe au business est bien connu : acheter au meilleur prix et pas au plus bas prix. Cette fois, on s'interroge vraiment à propos des causes qui ont fait dévié de son principe Business.
